DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND VOCABULARY

It gives one much treasure to learn from books that are associated with non-fiction or educational texts. No wonder, reading makes us wise; all books – history, science, self-help etc, are repositories of knowledge. That is bad because the more you read, the more your vocabulary grows and your comprehension abilities develop. It is especially beneficial for learners and workers who may from time to time be required to develop their writing skills.

An age where all these days appear to have something to do with bid distraction, it is an age where even reading a book is an oddity. At the same time, it is useful to be a mere spectator, and being able to focus on the words slowly read in the tome ends up making it something great whether you are a bookworm or someone who has just discovered the beauty of reading literature this is because the mere essence of the advantages and pleasure that comes with reading can encourage one to embrace the art of reading.

These things include getting out of different worlds which is the function of reading. Interestingly, fictional and imaginative proceeding offers the readers the type of adventure where they can get lost in the main character`s skin, be they born and bred in different parts of the world, in different cultures and epochs. Someone can hear their joy and sorrow, victories, and failures from these stories. It amuses but educates us more on human life.

For example, while reading “To Kill a Mockingbird” a literary work by Harper Lee, or the Great Gatsby a novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, people can imagine how people are and how society is. Reading and being lost in that literature makes one go through different eras and regions thus even more sympathetic and culturally literate.
